Turn a low-ink alert into a draft purchase order

Prepare replenishment before an HP Latex cartridge interrupts production.

Step by step

  1. Open HP Print OS > Inks & supplies. Continue only when live supply levels are available from the active connector.
  2. Review items at or below the Reorder threshold and confirm the printer, ink family, colour, SKU and displayed level.
  3. Select only the consumables to replenish, then select Create draft PO (n).
  4. Review the observed levels before leaving HP Print OS. In Purchasing, check the Stock Purchase Order’s preferred supplier, quantities, unit costs and line descriptions.
  5. Save the draft, then select Issue PO only after the normal purchasing approval and delivery checks.

Good practice

SignBas3 prepares the replenishment draft; it does not silently place an external order. Keep the preferred supplier and threshold current.
