Configure labour rates

Set the labour cost foundation used in job costing.

Before you beginUse a representative record and confirm you have the permissions required for this area.

Step by step

  1. Open Settings, then Labour Rates.
  2. Create the rate groups your business uses.
  3. Confirm cost and sell assumptions with the finance owner.
  4. Assign rates consistently to the relevant staff or tasks.
  5. Test the result on a representative job.

Good practice

Labour rates directly affect job performance signals, so nominate one owner for changes.
