Connect Dropbox storage

Authorise the organisation Dropbox connection, validate the approved root and prove a controlled job file opens from the expected location.

Before you beginUse a representative record and confirm you have the permissions required for this area.

Step by step

  1. Open Settings → Storage → Dropbox and choose Connect.
  2. Sign in with the intended business-owned Dropbox account and review the requested access.
  3. Return to SignBas3 and choose or confirm the approved root folder.
  4. Run the available test and validation actions and resolve any failed permission or root check.
  5. Upload one controlled file from a representative job and confirm its path and link are under the chosen root.

Good practice

Record the account and root used for the test. Do not connect a personal Dropbox account to a shared business workspace.

When you are finishedThe connection passes its checks and a representative job file sits under the approved Dropbox root.
