Import customers, suppliers and products from CSV

Upload, map, review and apply one controlled organisation-data batch while resolving duplicates before they enter daily work.

Best forOwner / Admin
Before you beginUse a representative record and confirm you have the permissions required for this area.

Step by step

  1. Open Settings → Data Import, choose customers, suppliers or inventory costs, and download any available template.
  2. Prepare a small first CSV with stable identifiers, required fields and consistent formatting.
  3. Upload the file and map each source column to the intended SignBas3 field.
  4. Review invalid and possible-duplicate rows; explicitly choose create, update, match or skip where offered.
  5. Apply the batch only when the preview counts and decisions match the source.
  6. Inspect representative records and the activity log, then retain the source file and import result under the organisation's data policy.

Good practice

Start with a small, reversible batch. A successful upload is not reconciliation—compare identifiers, names, units and commercial values in the resulting records.

When you are finishedThe batch is applied once, exceptions are resolved and representative records match the source.

Before you begin

  • The CSV has a header row, intentional identifiers and no unnecessary sensitive data.
  • A responsible person can decide how possible duplicates should be handled.
