Before you beginUse a representative record and confirm you have the permissions required for this area.
Step by step
- Open **Leads** from the **Sales** workspace.
- Select an existing lead, or choose **New with Fitch**, describe the enquiry, prepare it for review, and choose **Accept lead**.
- Open the lead. Use **Internal Notes** for the opportunity summary, then set **Estimated value** and **Next follow-up** in CRM pipeline controls.
- Update **Pipeline stage** after a meaningful sales event and save the pipeline changes.
- Choose **Start Quote**, review the draft details, and choose **Start Draft Quote**. Create a job only after the quote has been issued and accepted.
Good practice
Pair every next follow-up date with a clear note describing the action and owner.
If your workspace behaves differently, record the relevant job, client or record number and raise a support ticket so the team can investigate the exact context.
