Move an accepted quote into a job

Move an accepted sign quote into delivery while retaining approved scope, value, ownership and required dates.

Step by step

  1. On quote detail, verify the client and choose **Issue + accept · Job preflight** for a Draft, or **Accept · Job preflight** for an Issued quote.
  2. In **New Job**, confirm the linked quote and client. Do not continue from a quote that was not accepted.
  3. Review the job name, then set the required date, status, job manager and client manager.
  4. Add the site details, order reference, staff or group access, delivery requirements and handover notes, then create the job.
  5. Open the created job’s **Tasks** workspace. Verify inherited quote task allocations and use **Add Task** where more delivery work is required before briefing the team.

Good practice

Treat quote acceptance and job creation as separate, controlled sales-to-production handover steps.

If your workspace behaves differently, record the relevant job, client or record number and raise a support ticket so the team can investigate the exact context.
